Meet the Doctors/Providers
Jagdish D. Patel, MD, FAAP
Dr. Jagdish Patel, a Board Certified physician, has been providing comprehensive pediatric care since 1993. He earned his medical degree at B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He completed an internship and residency at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso, where he was Chief Resident and was awarded Best Resident in 1993.
Dr. Patel has also been named Best Doctor in America. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas Medical Association and the El Paso County Medical Society. In addition, he participates in the EL Paso Physician TV program.
In his leisure time, Dr. Patel enjoys movies, music and watching football and basketball games with his son.
Jignesh D. Patel, MD, FAAP
Dr. Jignesh Patel has been a pediatric specialist since 2003. He earned his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabed, India and completed a residency at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso. Dr. Patel is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas Medical Association and the El Paso County Medical Society. He also participates in the El Paso Physician TV program.
Jamie Jamison, RN, MSN, CPNP
Since 1975, Jamie has been in a variety of nursing roles in advanced practice inpatient and outpatient settings. Jamie received her education at the University of Arkansas, the Catholic University of America and St. Louis University. She also completed internships at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and the William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
Jamie is a Certified Nurse Practitioner and served as a National Pediatric Consultant to NCLEX RN testing for eight years. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the El Paso Advanced Practice Nurses.
In her spare time, Jamie volunteers with the EPISD School Health Advisory Council, Coronado High School Sports Booster Club and PTSA. According to Jamie, "After four babies of my own and a wide variety of nursing experience, it is my privilege to be part of El Paso Pediatric Health Center since 2001. On Nurses Day 2006, our staff represented 150 years of direct nursing care experience."
